General Description
Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding renting our home in Naples, Florida. If you are not familiar with the area, Naples is located in the ‘bottom left hand corner’ of Florida and is known locally as ‘Florida best kept secret’. it is located on one of Florida`s finest gulf coast beaches (11 miles of sand) and is also close to one of America`s finest living attractions - the everglades national park.
our home (built in 1998) is beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest standards and comprises 2 double bedrooms with en suite facilities and 2 twin bedded rooms with shared bathroom.
the screened, solar heated, pool situated at the rear of the property overlooks a picturesque natural lake. The pool is south facing for all day ‘sun-worshipers’ and there is a covered ‘lanai’ (patio) area for cooling off and outdoor dining.

Other bedrooms: 1 queen sized with full en-suite & TV and 2 others with 2 x twin beds.
Bathrooms: en-suite in Master and queen sized bedroom, 1 other shared between 3rd and 4th bedrooms.

General Items: Locally managed for your convenience and assistance. Air-conditioning / heating, ceiling fans in all rooms, telephone, linen & towels provided cable TV and double garage.

South Facing Lakeside pool area: SOLAR heated pool, substantial decking area, outdoor furniture including loungers and tables and chairs for `al fresco` dining under the covered lanai. The pool can be floodlit at night.
Additional Electric Pool heating if required, is an optional payment @ $ 125 p/week.
(generally NOT required March to October, especially when we have very effective SOLAR pool heating).

Local Attractions
Cambier Park: 755 8th Ave. S., 213-3058. Site of numerous outdoor concerts and featuring lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard and basketball courts, play area, covered pavilion and band shell, community theater. Open daily until 10 p.m.
Caribbean Gardens: The Zoo in Naples : 1590 Goodlette- Frank Road, 262-5409. A 52-acre natural park with wildlife attractions, animal performances, picnic and playground, gift shop and Primate Cruise.
Collier County Museum: 3301 U.S. 41 E. 774-8476. In the Collier County Government Complex. Narratives and displays explore 10,000 years of Southwest Florida history. Displays include prehistoric fossils and artifacts. A fiveacre historical park behind the museum has a typical Seminole Indian village, an active archaeological lab, garden, a steam locomotive and an early-style swamp buggy. Gift shop. The museum system includes two other sites: Roberts Ranch in Immokalee and Museum of the Everglades in Everglades City.
Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary: 375 Sanctuary Rd., between Naples and Immokalee, 348-9151. This 500-year-old forest of cypress trees attracts a spectacular array of birds and interesting wildlife. Use a self-guide book to stroll the boardwalk or sign up for a guided tour. Hours are daily 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Oct. 1 through April 10, and 7 a.m.-7:30 p.m. April 11 through Sept. 30.
CREW Marsh Trail System: At the edge of Corkscrew Marsh on Corkscrew Road in northern Collier County, 332-7771. Offers five miles of hiking through pine flatwoods, sawgrass marsh and oak/cabbage palm hammock.
Eden of the Everglades: 893 Dupont Road, S.R. 29, two miles south of U.S. 41, Everglades City, 1-800-543-3367 or 695-2805. Jungle and airboat tours.
Everglades National Park Boat Tours: East U.S. 41 to South S.R. 29, 695-2591. Tour through the heart of the 10,000 Islands, the worlds largest mangrove forest, and look for manatees, dolphins, American bald eagles, etc. All tours are narrated.
Everglades Wonder Gardens: 27180 Old U.S. 41, Bonita Springs, 992-2591. A preserve with a collection of Florida wildlife. Tours throughout the day. Last tour starts at 4:15 p.m.
Gulf Coast Skimmers: West of U.S. 41 South at corner of Lakewood Blvd. and Outer Drive, 732-0570. Free water ski shows on Lake Avalon at Sugden Regional Park. Schedule: May through August - Saturdays at 6:30 p.m.; closed December; October through April - Sundays at 3 p.m.
Marco Island Trolley Tours: 991 Barfield Drive N., Marco Island, 394-1600
Naples Botanical Garden, at 4820 Bayshore Drive, is located on 160 acres. It is open in a preview stage of its development featuring a small indoor and an outdoor garden. Phone 239-643-7275 and visit www.naplesgarden.org.
Naples Fishing Pier: West end of 12th Ave. S., 213-3062. Pelicans, snacks and fishing.
Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track: Year-round racing. Old U.S. 41 and Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs. 992-2411.
Naples Trolley Tours: 1100 Sixth Ave. S., 262-7300. See the town and shop from quaint trolleys. Available for private parties.
Visitor & Information Center: 262-6141. A great source of free information on all aspects of life in and around Naples.
Palm Cottage: 137 12th Ave. S., 261-8164. This antiquefilled 19th-century home is just steps from the Naples Pier. Today, it serves as headquarters of the Collier County Historical Society. Call for hours.
Seminole Gaming Palace of Immokalee: 506 South First Street, Immokalee, approximately 40 minutes from Naples. 658-1313. Poker, gaming machines, high-stakes bingo; full restaurant and bar. Open seven days, around the clock.
Teddy Bear Museum of Naples: 2511 Pine Ridge Road, 598-2711. Display of more than 5,000 teddy bears, including rare collectors items and limited editions. Storytelling is available, and some exhibits are child-size. Call for specific information.
Wootens Everglades Airboat Tours: 35 miles east of Naples on U.S. 41 , 1-800-282-2781 or 695-2781. This attraction includes an alligator and crocodile farm, snake exhibit, airboat and swamp buggy rides.
Everglades Excursions: Departs Naples and Marco Island daily for a jungle cruise through the Everglades. 1010 6th Ave. South, 262-7300, or 1-800-592-0484.

Ostego Bay Foundation: 718 Fishermans Wharf, Fort Myers Beach, north side of bridge, 765-8101. Free marine exhibit featuring a touch tank and aquariums.
